Events and webinars for the IT sector
IT events and webinars create opportunities to discuss a specific topic. An event starts before the invitation and continues after the last slide. We build the journey that attracts relevant registrations and helps sales follow up on conversations.

Before the event
We define the audience, topic and reason to attend, then prepare content, landing pages and phased promotion with vendors and partners. The campaign explains what attendees will learn, not just when the event happens.
From registrations to conversations
We agree reminders, contact handling and follow-up, distinguishing registrations, attendance and sales enquiries. For MDF projects, we also plan branding, materials and required evidence.
The IT events and webinars process
1. Give people a reason to attend. Choose an audience problem and align the agenda with the speaker’s contribution. The event content should fulfil the promise of its title. 2. Prepare invitations and registration. Define channels, materials, registration page and reminders. Make the date, format, audience and next steps clear. 3. Coordinate delivery. Align organiser, vendor and partner responsibilities. For funded activities, collect required evidence without assuming every event expense is eligible. 4. Turn interest into a next step. Separate registrations and attendance. Follow up with relevant information, assign ownership of enquiries and request sales outcomes to assess commercial progress.
What is needed before promoting an IT webinar?
A useful topic for a defined audience, an available speaker, a date and a clear next step. Communication should explain what attendees will learn or assess. Allow time for registrations, reminders and coordination with sales.
Are registrations the same as attendees?
No. Separate registrations, actual attendance and subsequent enquiries. Reporting should explain movement between these groups and the criteria for a useful contact. The registration count should not be presented as a count of sales opportunities.
How should event follow-up work?
Before the event, agree who follows up, when and with which content. Messages can distinguish attendees, no-shows and people requesting more information. Follow-up should reflect the interest expressed and the contact preferences collected.
